ABOUT SUPERHUMAN

Making makes us human.

SuperHuman began with a simple belief: creativity isn’t reserved for professional artists, and making shouldn’t be harder than it needs to be.

We created a studio that brings the space, tools, instruction, and community together - so more of your energy can go into the work itself.

Why SuperHuman exists

Why SuperHuman Exists

Pottery asks a lot before you ever sit down to make.

A place to work. Tools. Equipment. Firing. Storage. Instruction. Time.

SuperHuman was created to bring those pieces together. We  make it easier to begin, easier to return, and easier to keep building a practice of your own.

A different kind of ceramics studio.

Everything at SuperHuman is designed around continuity: learning when you need it, having a place ready when you arrive, and being able to keep going as your practice changes.

FOUNDER

Why I Built SuperHuman

I found pottery while looking for a creative outlet that could fit alongside being a lawyer, a mother, and a person with a very full life. I loved it almost immediately.

But my pottery journey was never linear.

I’d take a class, start making progress, and then stall. The next class I needed might sell out in minutes, or require me to be somewhere every Tuesday at 7 p.m. for eight weeks. My life just doesn’t work like that.

And I realized I probably wasn’t the only person who wanted to get better at pottery without organizing my entire life around a class schedule.

That’s what led me to Superhuman.

I wanted a studio where you can keep learning at your own pace — with classes, workspace, equipment, firing, and support available as your practice grows.

I also wanted to preserve what I love most about pottery: it demands your attention, it makes you deal with imperfection, and it gives you endless chances to try again.

Superhuman is the studio I wanted when I was trying to figure out how to keep going.

There's something extraordinary about being human.

We imagine things that don't exist yet. Then, we make them with our hands.

Making makes us human.
